How much does a neon sign cost in Pakistan? (2026 pricing breakdown)

The Short Answer

In 2026, a neon sign in Pakistan typically costs between 5,000 PKR (low-end) and 10,000 PKR (high-end). A small home-decor piece, a name, a short word, or a simple shape at around 1.5 to 2 feet wide usually lands in the 2,000-5,000 PKR range. A shopfront or business sign at 4 to 6 feet wide is generally Rs. 20,500 to Rs. 26,500+.

Large commercial installations with logos, multi-colour work, or outdoor weatherproofing run higher.

Price is driven by four things, in this order:

  • Size

  • Number of letters

  • LED flex versus traditional glass

  • Indoor versus outdoor build.

Everything else is a smaller adjustment on top.

We manufacture neon signage in Multan and supply across Pakistan, so the numbers below come from actual production, not from converted foreign price lists.

What actually determines the price?

1. Size

Neon is priced primarily by the length of tubing used, not by the area of the sign. That's why a wide, simple word can cost less than a small but intricate logo; the intricate piece uses more tube per square foot.

As a rough guide, expect the following:

Sign width

Typical use

Price range (PKR)

1 – 1.5 ft

Small word, symbol, desk piece

2000

2 – 3 ft

Home decor, bedroom, cafe wall

6000-8000

4 – 5 ft

Shopfront, salon, restaurant interior

15000-20000

6 – 8 ft

Main signboard, showroom facade

30000+

8 ft+

Large commercial installation

50000+

2. Letter count and design complexity

Every letter, curve, and break in the design adds labour. Cursive script uses more neon than block lettering at the same width. A logo with fine internal detail can double the length of a plain wordmark of identical size.

A practical rule for budgeting: approximate cost per foot of neon Rs. 90 to Rs. 110 PKR. Use this to sanity-check any quote you receive. If a vendor's price is far below it, ask what they're cutting.

3. LED flex neon vs. traditional glass neon

Almost all neon sold in Pakistan today is LED flex neon. A flexible silicone or PVC tube with an LED strip inside, mounted on a cut acrylic backboard. Traditional glass neon, where gas-filled glass tubes are bent by hand and driven by a transformer, is now a specialist product.

For the overwhelming majority of buyers' homes, cafes, salons, and retail. LED flex is the right choice. Glass neon makes sense when the vintage aesthetic is the whole point.

4. Indoor vs. outdoor

An outdoor sign costs more than the same sign built for indoors, typically by 30% to 50%. The difference goes into weatherproofing: a higher IP rating, a weather-resistant backboard, an outdoor-rated power supply, and mounting hardware that survives wind and monsoon.

If you're buying for a shopfront, confirm the sign is rated IP65 or better. An indoor-build sign mounted outside will fail — usually within the first rainy season, and usually not under warranty.

What else changes the price

Backboard type. A plain rectangular clear acrylic backboard is the cheapest option. Cut-to-shape acrylic that follows the outline of the letters costs more but looks far cleaner on a wall. Coloured, mirrored, or printed backboards add further costs.

Number of colours. Single-colour signs are baseline. Each additional colour adds cost because it means a separate run. RGB colour-changing tube costs more and includes a controller.

Dimmer and remote. Worth it for interiors where the sign has to work in both daylight and evening.

Installation. Home delivery with a mounting kit for DIY hanging is usually included. On-site professional installation for commercial signage depends on height, facade type, and city.

Delivery.

Running cost: What does a neon sign cost to keep on?

This is the number most buyers never ask about, and it's usually a pleasant surprise.

A typical LED neon sign of around 2 feet draws roughly 15 to 30 watts of power. Run for 8-Hours a day at current electricity rates, that works out to approximately Rs. 126 and Rs. 360 per month.

A glass neon of the same size draws considerably more.

For a business running a sign 12 hours a day, the electricity cost over a full year is still a small fraction of the purchase price.

Lead time

Standard production for a custom LED neon sign is 1 day from design approval. Larger commercial pieces and glass neon take 2-3 days. Rush production costs more.

Design approval matters here: the clock starts when you sign off on the mockup, not when you place the order. Sending final text, font preference, colour, and exact size up front removes days from the timeline.

What to watch for when comparing quotes

Cheap quotes in this market are usually cheap for a reason. Before you compare two prices, check that you're comparing the same product:

  • Power supply quality. A low-grade driver is the single most common failure point in a cheap neon sign. Ask what's being used.

  • Backboard thickness. Under 3mm acrylic on anything wider than 2 feet will bow.

  • Warranty. Ask what's covered, for how long, and whether it includes the power supply. Ours is 6 months.

  • Who repairs it. A sign is a physical product that will eventually need service. An imported or drop-shipped sign has no one locally behind it.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a small neon sign for a bedroom in Pakistan?

A small home-decor neon sign of 1.5 to 2 feet typically costs 2000, depending on the number of letters and the backboard style.

How much does a custom neon sign with my name or logo cost?

Custom pricing is based on total tube length rather than a flat rate. Send us the text or logo, and we'll quote exactly.

Do neon signs use a lot of electricity?

No. A typical LED neon sign draws around 6–10 watts per foot.

How long does a neon sign last?

LED neon is rated for approximately 10,000 to 50,000 Hours of use, which is 10 to 15 years at normal usage. Glass neon lasts 8 to 15 years but is vulnerable to breakage.

Can neon signs be used outdoors in Pakistan?

Yes, provided the sign is built for it, has an IP-rated power supply, and a weather-resistant backboard. An indoor-built sign will not survive a monsoon season outdoors.

Do you deliver across Pakistan?

Yes, we deliver all across Pakistan.

Getting a quote

Neon pricing is genuinely custom, so the fastest route to an accurate number is to send us three things: the exact text or logo, the width you want, and whether it's going indoors or outdoors. We'll come back with a mockup and a firm price.
